This August, join us as we celebrate 80 years of River Shannon with a month-long lineup of anniversary festivities honoring the memories, traditions, and community that have made us a Chicago favorite since 1946. Throughout the month, guests can enjoy daily features, special events, anniversary drink specials, limited-edition merch, commemorative keepsake giveaways, and plenty of surprises along the way.

For eight decades, River Shannon has lived by the number one rule of Irish hospitality: “You’re a guest on your first night; after that, you’re a regular.” Whether you’ve been joining us for years or are stopping in for the first time, we invite you to raise a glass and celebrate 80 unforgettable years with us. 

In addition to special events, guests can enjoy Happy Hour every Monday through Friday from 4pm to 6pm throughout August featuring $8 pizzas, $12 pitchers of Michelob Ultra and Bud Light, and $14 Stella Artois pitchers. Rotating anniversary drink specials, spirit samplings, and partner activations will also take place throughout the month.
